we had a nice dinner last night. eating was great as the staff, especially richard, who left out of the way, made us very welcome! really good to enjoy a meal again!

We came here on our wedding anniversary for a lovely meal. We had the rib-eye steak, mixed grilled fish and a children's meal of fish and chips. All were cooked to perfection. Ver carta

Lovely pub good atmosphere food was amazing.. staff friendly and extremely helpful with the kids... great place... and to top it off the toilets were very clean and fresh..... definitely recommended

The lunch menu is excellent, featuring high-quality food that is perfect for smaller appetites and budgets. The service is friendly and outstanding. It's a refreshing change from typical chain restaurants.

We had an outstanding meal on December 19, 2016. The staff was beautiful and friendly, and the food was fabulous and well presented. My little grandson especially loved the chocolate flower pudding. We went here for boxing day lunch 26/12/16 it was absolutely delicious the staff were very friendly my husband had the venison and it just melted in the mouth I had the turkey if I have to complain about anything it would just be that the parsnips were not cooked enough for me as I like mine brown and soft but my husband had them and he loved them it truly was a delicious meal. Just as good as when we go for Sunday lunch. We would highly recommend

I made a booking for a christmas night out (which was amended a few times in the day but they were more than happy to accommodate us). The night was fantastic and so were the staff. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too. 4 ordered off the xmas menu and they absolutely loved it. The six of us had a brilliant time, we even got a picture on the page! It's a fantastic pub, made better by the staff. If any of the staff that were working on 15/12/2015 are reading this, thank you very much.

We had a fantastic dining experience last night! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. The extensive gluten-free menu offered a delightful selection of hot cheese starters, and the steak and ale pie was delicious—perfectly cooked alongside well-prepared vegetables. It was just what we needed for a chilly winter evening. The lovely ice cream served in a charming sunflower bowl was a perfect finishing touch. Dining in a combination of a cookhouse and brewery is always a treat! Ver carta
