"Charming Tea Room in Monmouth. a group of us stopped off here for a late lunch on Saturday ,after roaming the streets of monmouth we came upon this lovely Tearoom . the Upstairs is delightful with Chandeliers and panelled walls. The waitress was very friendly and the food was served on lovely china and very well presented. We all had different, ranging from Sandwiches, Quiche, Pasta etc. All was lovely as were the cakes and scones. Would definately recommend."

Lovely little shop and tea room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food and drinks were hot and fresh.

Waiter was most bad mannered served food without crisps when crisps were on the menu with meal will not be returning.

Just popped in for a refreshing cuppa on this occasion. Service and dring were very good so we will venture in next time for a bite to eat as well.

Cramped area at the back of the shop over priced I felt over £6 for small latte and cake. Waitress kept hovering and whisked away plate as soon as finished. Made me feel uncomfortable. Won't visit again. Ver carta

Popped in for lunch whilst in Monmouth visiting family.Very friendly staff...lovely lunch.My husband and son had sandwiches whilst I had a lovely quiche and salad.We took cake away with us to have in our hotel later on.Would Definately visit again.

Lovely Tea Room and Cafe on the main st in Monmouth. Had an Italian bread which was a bit like a Pannini but lighter and so well presented. Staff were lovely and the Filter coffee was some of the best I have ever had, no bitterness at all. Will have one of their lovely cakes next time !!

Fantastic tea room! Friendly and accommodating staff. Relaxing atmosphere. I can highly recommend the sandwiches which came with a selection of dressed salad leaves, a dish of tomatoes, crisps and a gorgeous potato salad. I had cheese and pickle and my friend had Brie and cranberry lovely! Well worth a visit when in Monmouth! Ver carta

Not the place to visit with young children unless you are blessed with a very thick skin. Young waitress was exceptionally nice but the one in her 60's would curdle milk from 50 yards. Practically thrown out after spending almost £25 on lunch said she needed the table but there was only our family there and the children were happily eating ice cream. Not a nice experience and one we won't repeat.

We didn't stay more than a few minutes as the waitress was beyond rude. Obviously I was very unwelcome with my son and my enquiry about a high chair was met with a blunt terse no. She demanded to know if we wanted food before we'd even opened the menu, and as we asked about afternoon tea meaning just a scone and some tea and we're told no you have to give 24 hours notice. We were obviously an inconvenience so moved on.
