"I was there a few times. Food is always good. I am paying with card almost everywhere, Waldviertelhof included. (even below 10 EURO). But I was shocked during my last visit they told me minimum amount for card payment is 20 EURo. I think...they should remove Visa/Master card stickers from the door, because it is just not true you can pay with card...You can pay with card just when the waiter has good mood or if you spend enough money. Come on, it is year 2020, no 2004. As firms are usually paying fee of the transaction and not any fixed transaction fee, this limit is more than strange for me. Be careful and have enough cash, like in 2004."

Ein sehr idyllisches Restaurant mit echtem wiener Flair. Urig und bodenständig. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Hat alles perfekt harmoniert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nur zu empfehlen. Note 1

Wir haben hier ein Wiener Schnitzel gegessen. Preis/Leistung ist gut und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe schon bessere Schnitzel in Wien gehabt aber alles in allem war es ein gutes Essen. Der Innenhof hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Sommer. Ver carta

Ein weiterer Besuch in diesem Lokal war wieder ein voller Erfolg. Der große Biergarten ist absolut gemütlich und auch für Gruppen geeignet. Reservierung notwendig. Aber auch die Räumlichkeiten im Haus sind empfehlenswert. Bier und Weine sehr gut, Essen vor allem Hausmannskost.

Gebackener Kalbskopf mit Kartoffelsalat und Gulasch mit Knödelscheiben gegessen. Alles sehr schön angerichtet und gut im Geschmack. Aber das Beste war die Rindssuppe mit Fritatten. Einfach zum "Niederknien". Liebe Köche vom Waldviertlerhof - dafür solltet ihr einen Orden erhalten! Auch die Marillenknödel als Abschluss - einfach köstlich.
