"Positive: from the outside the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and looked nice with the decorations. Negatives: I do not normally give awful ratings but honestly we had a very bad experience. We were recommended by friends but I would not come here again or recommend to others. Overall the food was bland, burnt and overpriced. 1. Atmosphere: where we were sat it was very dark to the point we had to use our phone torch to look at the menu. There were a few tables that did this. I asked for some additional lamps/lights but was ignored by the staff. We could not see what we were eating which is never a good sign. The ambience just wasn’t there due to the beaming blue neon light from the bar. You can see how dark it was as I had to use flash to take a picture of the food. 2. Food: we had the Zara Special Menu Feast. Which involved mixed starters and had the mix meat chicken and lamb). The starter was mediocre which was dips with pitta but the pitta was very thick. The meat was dry and very burnt. The chips were soggy and there was not a lot of flavour.There was a lot of food left on all of our plates. 3. Service: Our drinks were slow and came after our starter. The staff weren’t attentive and ignored our issues. I was originally going to order the bigger platter for two but the waiter said to order separately therefore playing more per person we were a table of 3)."

I recently enjoyed a dinner at this restaurant and had a great experience. The price per person ranged from £30 to £40. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Shish Kebab. Ver carta

The restaurant has a fantastic location with romantic lighting and decor. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options, making it easy for vegetarians and vegans. However, the menus were in need of reprinting as they were tatty and oil stained. Furthermore, the water bottles had rust on the stoppers. Unfortunately, we were not checked on or offered drinks or desserts. Despite being on Michelin lists in 2017/18, it should be removed from signs and menus as it is no longer relevant to customers.

I would give it less than one star, we booked a table for an important occasion a month in advance, then to be told 5 days before we need to provide a deposit in 24 hours, despite asking if this was required when we booked 4 weeks ago. Okay one element of the deposit wasn't even the worst part, they insisted we spend £30 per head or order from the set menu. The manager khan was rude and unaccommodating, after explaining everything he has the audacity to treat us so poorly and asked why we cancelled our booking. Never tried before and won't be visiting either. Don't waste your time, with greedy people.
