"The location and ambiance of the restaurant are fantastic. It's beautifully decorated, and there's a great selection of pints to choose from. During our visit, we only ordered one starter each since we were out for a walk. The dishes were well-presented and full of flavor. The crockery was lovely, but the cutlery fell short of the overall experience and could use an upgrade to match the quality of the food. When we returned on a Sunday, we were disappointed to learn that food was only available with advance reservations. Overall, the service was geared towards dine-in customers."

The menu is excellent and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and prompt, and the views were fantastic. The cocktails were enjoyable, and they even included a lovely "Happy Birthday" message with my dessert. Thank you for making it a memorable visit!

The food took a little while to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The scallops were cooked to perfection. Amber provided outstanding service. I will definitely be returning. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dishes: Roasted Pork Belly and Scallops.

I went for a birthday lunch at 12:30 on Saturday. Our online reservation was waiting for us, and we were delighted to find the window seat we had requested. The staff were excellent, and the food and drinks were wonderful—particularly the flavored tonic on tap. The views were stunning. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much! Ver carta

My first visit to Coombe Cellars was amazing. I usually don't have high expectations for restaurants since they often can't meet my needs. It's hard to find a place that offers healthy, plant-based options. I was thrilled with the nourish bowl, and I will definitely be returning. Now I have two places where I can enjoy dining out! Yes!!

This is a wonderful location to relax with a drink outdoors by the estuary. The access roads can be quite narrow, making driving a bit challenging. The food is delicious, although the gluten-free choices are somewhat limited. There is free parking available, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a delightful place to visit during the summer!

This pub boasts amazing views! The food is quite good, and the service is friendly. Although the vegan options could use a bit more excitement—particularly the main courses, which were rather average—the hummus and falafel appetizer was delicious, and the apple crumble dessert was a real treat. I mentioned that it was my birthday, and they went out of their way to make the evening memorable! Ver carta

The food was mediocre, and the service was extremely slow. We weren't offered any discounts, drinks, or snacks while we waited. Even though we only ordered main courses, it took almost two hours for our food to be served. The chips were undercooked, the goat cheese lacked flavor and was poorly presented, and the roast potatoes and vegetables accompanying the sea bass were cold. Overall, I was quite disappointed and won't be coming back. The cost per person ranged from £30 to £40.

During our visit, we experienced some staffing challenges, and there were two new chefs who appeared to be a bit overwhelmed. Our server, although working alone, was very friendly and considerate. He even offered to remove our meal from the bill due to the long wait. However, I had a concerning incident where I was inadvertently served a Peroni with alcohol instead of the alcohol-free option I had requested. I didn’t realize it until my third sip, which was quite upsetting since I don’t drink. Overall, the cost per person was approximately £30-£40.

"Myself and my family have been to the pizza cafè on various occasions over the past 5 to 10 years. I remember going with my parents from a young age on a Saturday or Sunday as a treat and in my adulthood visiting a few times. Each time I’ve gone sadly the character and standards of the place have continued to decline. The food is average although the prices are still rising, and the service can be quite poor. The pizzas used to be a lot tastier (and bigger), it all seemed fresher, served with a smile and fairly quickly… however on my last visit after being seated me and my partner waited a good 15minutes to be asked which drinks we’d like to order in which case we had already decided what we wanted to eat and quickly ordered not knowing how much longer we’d have to wait for someone to come and take our order again. Then nearly 45mins to an hour later our food arrived! We almost walked out at one point. It wasn’t particularly busy this night either. We had slow service, the food was not worth the price, and we also seemed to be waiting a lot because of a seemingly new staff member not knowing what to do and keeping asking for advice or simply handing it over to someone else which unfortunately I think is what happened to us. I appreciate people have to learn but there should have been a better system in place for someone to help out rather than cause a disruption on a Friday night which could have been a lot busier and caused more delay. I would probably go here again but my expectations are tainted unfortunately."
