"we were with the family for a weekend in this beautiful and lively city. the girl at the reception at our precise request of where to go to eat well, rightly advised us this non-comforting place at first sight, right behind the square of the rathaus building (city hall). Full pedestrian area, you see the symbol of the local (a bovino) on the large windows that give on the road. we knew it was always full, we didn't book, but if we could eat in an hour and a half a place for three is located, we'll turn off the young maitre in the inner courtyard. We are tourists among the people of the city, other Asian, European and American tourists and we notice the multi-ethnicity of the staff who work and unstoppable among the many tables, of which the oldest will have had 25/30 years at the most. All very kind, we need the Menu in English and German (we don't know the local language) while other Menus in other languages are not available. We make a choice between pork, chicken and bovine meat and as an appetizer for the wait comes a calf fillet that melt in the mouth with nearby croutons, butter and various sauces with also spices of every perfume as in our South Italian. We don't have time to enjoy it that from there to little (10min) arrive the dishes, well seasoned and inviting all with excellent meat and also abundant. also excellent choice of local beers strictly to the plug, or in bottle. We also take a sweet test, also these all exquisite and excellent presentation. In the expected times we rise with a correct cost for the tasted quality, just quantity, not from three michelin stars, but quiet and classy environment. If you want, there's also a very interesting interior room that we'll visit next time. We all met, we knew that the restaurant ends up cooking at midnight, but the restaurant remains open as a bar at least until 3.00 in the summer months. the contours are included in the dish, at least ours, but it is a local mainly for carnivores. good appetite."

the el gaucho is the best steak restaurant in graz. the meat has an outstanding quality, the wine card is excellent and the service is almost perfect.

If you wish to eat a good piece of meat, this is the place in the pedestrian part of Graz city centre. nice setting, fresh products, friendly services and acceptable prices make it a safe choice.

the ambiente, the food and the very friendly staff make a visit in the el gaucho a special experience. one should try a smoked steak and also the gnocchi and the others are a pleasure for the palate.

nadat we vorig jaar misgrepen (never reserve,) hebben we tijdens ons recente bezoek aan graz wel in el gaucho kunnen plaatsnemen en van het diner gebruik kunnen make. dit op de schitterende binnenplaats met top bediening. geniet van de culinaire justen bijbehorende wijnen. will op vrijdag of zaterdag = reserveren different grijp je zeker mis!

Visited El Gaucho on Saturday for the first time since I moved to Graz 2.5 years ago. Friends talked positively about the restaurant. I was not disappointed. This is a great steak place and my friends and I had a wonderful evening. The ambiance is great as we were seated outside due to the nice weather. The food was great, in particular the steak. Wine card was elaborate and a mix of in-expensive wines and really good quality wines. Service level was high as you would expect. No complaints, this restaurant is recommendable in all aspects.

in the city we decided spontaneously to visit the el gaucho. supposedly it is recommended to eat. because we didn't have a reservation, we thought that probably nothing would be free. when the young waitress offered us a table with a very rude undertone, which was positioned directly at the entrance of the gast garden, next to the barrier, we decided to have another restaurant.A courtier walk with the guests (reserved or not reserved) would be desirable. for a restaurant in this price class, the positioning of individual tables seems questionable. I can't tell you what to eat.
