I did order a Zander fish with boiled potatoes and spinach, everything tasted good and fresh. If you are in Werder upon Havel and want to eat fish go to this restaurant!

Excellent choice of fish, friendly service and great views. Good value for money. We were there with a group of 20 cyclists and everybody agreed that the fish dishes were excellent.

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times over the last five years and have always had delicious fish. The view over the lake is lovely and it is a pleasant cycle ride from Potsdam. Ver carta

We recently stopped at the restaurant on a boat trip as it offers a private dock. The food was good but most of the seating is reserved for self-service. The service staff is not overly friendly and quite stressed out. In the end it's fair value for money but nothing exceptional.

We went there based upon relatively good reviews we read online. The service was very attentive and very polite. However, the food was average. My fish was full of bones and without any taste. My husband's fish (dorade) was ok but it was served with peppered strawberries that were tasteless. They serve large portions but they should work on the quality of their food.

The river views alone make this restaurant worth the visit, but the fish is great, too. There is a self-serve window where you can order, but, if you don't like having to make on-the-spot decisions in German, sitting in the à la carte section with...table service is easier. The views are just as good. There is a good beer selection. The chilled red-pepper soup was perfect for summer. Very nice restaurant, lots of seating, mostly outdoors with a great view of the river. We tried a mixed platter of smoked fish and each one was tasty. We liked it enough that we bought 3 types and had them for breakfast for the next 2 mornings. We also tried the Zander fillet and it was excellent as well. The spinach went well, but the asparagus was a little disappointing compared to some others we had tried that week.Service was a little slow but very friendly and accomodating - they may not have been staffed for as large a crowd as they had on a very cool and windy weeknight. This restaurant has huge of smoking ovens using only the finest oak and I think maple wood chips. At first glance, we didn't think we would be able to eat here without a reservation. Tables completely full or with reservation cards on top were all we could see. The hostess, however, let us know you could order the same things from a stand and eat on the nearby pier, complete with wooden tables on the water.We stood in line for about ten minutes, and ordered our food.
