"On holiday and decided to visit this restaurant as menu looked very inviting. Interior of the restaurant is nice, on entry we were shown to a table and given menus. We were not asked what we would like to a drink until we chose our food which is unusual. Garlic bread with cheese was nice and the calamari was ok. When my spaghetti bolognese and my daughters carbonara came I couldn’t believe the pasta was not fresh. I’m not Italian but make my own pasta at home or buy fresh from the supermarket. Fresh pasta is the least I would expect from an Italian restaurant. My husband had pan fried seabass with king prawns, neither of the fillets had crispy skin, no one wants to eat soggy fish skin. It wasn’t a disaster but I wouldn’t rate it anymore than average and the service wasn’t great, it was if they didn’t want customers on a quiet Wednesday evening."

Lovely atmosphere. Food was amazing, everything tasted so fresh. Came out the kitchen super fast and super hot. Service was great. Would definitely recommend.

Discovered this place as we had an hour to spend in Monmouth (charging car) loved it, unusual decor, friendly staff, great food, great busy atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. Ver carta

We had a very nice meal here. The decor is bright, comfortable and very pretty with attention to detail. The staff were friendly and the service was quick and attentive. We enjoyed every dish we ate and prices were reasonable.

Fantastic meal for 6, seated in the upstairs terrace, beautiful surroundings. Menu, wine and service were all 1st class, no reason to fault anything. Alex looked after us Royally, very entertaining. Look forward to our return visit, hopefully sooner rather than later. Grazie .

Perfect pre-theatre! Music was a bit loud when we arrived (and not very relaxing), but they turned it down (and changed it to a more appropriate genre). Can’t fault food or service, and the price was around what I’d have expected to pay in 2018. No hesitation going back next time. Ver carta

Great for romance, family, solo dining lunch or dinner. Setting is italian themed and decorated to a high standard. Food is incredible. We've been coming here over a year and never had a poor quality meal. Everything freshly cooked, wonderfully presented. The staff are attentive, kind and friendly. Restaurant easily accessible as it's just a short walk from main Monmouth car park. Don't miss eating here if you're planning a visit locally!!

We just popped into this place while passing through Monmouth we'll be detouring again whenever we get the opportunity in future. What a find. Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, and most importantly, the food was out of this world. Thad the Bolognaise, one of my favourite meals, and it didn't disappoint. Just the right balance of flavours leaning on the rich side in just the right way. Perfect portion size, just delicious. My wife had the linguine a Gamberoni, and was equally impressed. Obviously, highly recommended.
