Excellent, an extremely friendly welcome for ourselves and our dog. Lovely location with large car park. The food is amazing and good prices. Toilets are spotless and nicely done out. A very comfortable pub with great food and drink. Will definitely return.

night in Devon and we were not disappointed. Portion sizes huge and staff really friendly. Mozzarella starter was enormous and fish and chips was equally sized and very tasty. Check your bill as the system clitches as times, but overall a lovely eating experience....Thank you.

We have had some really good food in Devon this week, but the Muddiford Inn tops the lot. Especially the Portuguese Espetada and brownies. The landlords and staff were very welcoming and atmosphere really relaxed. Even our cockerpoo was spoilt with treats and a water...bowl. We saved this until our final meal as a treat, which is was. But would have been happy to eat here every night. Thank you

Amazing place , very friendly and homely , the food is unbelievable , easily the best meal I have ever tasted. I have visited for the second time today after coming here a week ago and I just needed to come back as the food...is just amazing, the service was really good all staff was very friendly. I had started to think we would never find a decent pub Sunday lunch ever again. The last good one was in a long time pre-pandemic. The one we had today at the Muddiford Inn, however, was fantastic. Hugely flavoursome, perfectly cooked (I had...pork belly) and generously proportioned, with attentive, professional service. A lovely location, too. If they added some guest ales to the bar, it would be perfect! Highly recommended.

This place is my absolute dream, service wonderful the two blokes I feel in love with!!! The family and I loved this place, the food woow the food was exceptional, its by far the best pub /restaurant food I have ever eaten!!! We stayed in Devon on a family holiday and were looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch. The Mudiford Inn was fantastic! We were a large booking of with two small children. They catered for us beautifully and the Sunday lunch was incredible! My...daughter is Coeliac and although she couldn't have the yorkshire pudding or stuffing (which she is very used to) she didn't go without and left very full! They also provide extra gravy as standard without us asking for it, which was lovely. It was a very friendly place with great hospitality. The service was outstanding. Greeted as we approached the entrance (by Sean) who looked after us the entire evening like we the only guests, accommodating our needs and food intolerance's. I expected the menu to have to be tailored but every effort was made not...to omit but substitute as close to the original order (Fried onions for onions) Also, when one of the young girls wasn't sure of smoked sauce flavour, a sample was brought from the kitchen for out approval and subsequent order.
