"My friend ordered the pork and leek sausage and mash, and he was impressed with the presentation and flavor. However, my husband and our friend's wife were disappointed with their steak and ale pie. They found that there was not enough meat in the pie, with my husband only getting 3 small pieces and our friend only getting 2. The rest of the pie was mostly vegetables and the gravy was too runny. They both agreed that more meat and a thicker gravy would improve the dish. Overall, the service was excellent and the wine was delicious. The restaurant could improve their beef and ale pie by adding more meat and having a thicker gravy. The vegetarian options, as mentioned above, are outstanding."

The family had a great time at this pub in Cheshire. The staff was friendly, there were 3 vegan options on the menu, and the prices were reasonable. They even allowed the dog into the bar area and provided water and cookies for it. Overall, a great experience!

The family enjoyed their time at this pub in Cheshire. They found it easily and were greeted by friendly staff. They were pleased to find three vegan options on the menu that were also reasonably priced. They were able to bring their dog and he was well taken care of in the bar area, where he was given water and cookies. Overall, a great experience.

We’ve been to the Stamford Bridge many times and always had a good meal; however today the meal was exceptional! We were a party of 5, each having different dishes. All our dishes were fantastic. The Christmas lunch was not only a reasonable price but also more importantly, it was one of the best Christmas lunches we’ve had. Thank you team Stamford Bridge xx Food: 5

The roast beef and soup at this restaurant were excellent. However, the belly pork and pigeon were disappointing, with the pigeon being overcooked. The price per person is over £100. The food quality is rated at 5, service at 2, and atmosphere at 5. Recommended dishes include the Sunday Roast Slow Cooked Belly Pork and Sunday Roast Platter. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking options in the lot.

I frequently visit Stamford Bridge with a group of six. We typically order six different meals and have never had any complaints. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The restaurant is easy to access for wheelchair users, though there are a couple of steps leading to a second drinks area and a small dining area. Most of the restaurant is level and accessible. The average price per person is between £30-40.

"Bank Holiday Monday in Stamford. Most places are shut, and the town is a lot quiter than usual... My wife is MADLY hungry, and insists we choose somewhere QUICKLY (this isn 't a request! , so we head into the very first place we come across No1 Kitchen. We 'd glanced at the menu on the way in, but our only real concern was that it was open, and it had food. A very friendly waitress showed us to our table, in a lovely corner spot, and I availed myself of the facilities, which were spacious and pristinely clean (something of a 'yardstick ' for us in terms of a well looked after restaurant... The waitress was soon back for our drinks order, and once she 'd delivered our Cokes we went for the Hot and Spicy Burger, with twisty fries, and a Mediterranean Lamb Burger, with corn on the cob. This too arrived promptly, with various Heinz condiments, and everything was hot and fresh! Both burgers were utterly SPLENDID, and we agreed they were The Real Thing, and particulary suited to discerning adults. There were PLENTY of twisty fries, which were crispy, well presented, and nicely seasoned. The burgers were deceptively filling, and my wife couldn 't quite manage hers, but even whilst eating we were planning our next visit, to try out other burger options. Overall, this was nothing short of a Perfect Lunchtime Visit, and we 'd enthusiastically recommend it to other burger lovers! Even if I tried my hardest, there was absolutely NOTHING to fault about this gorgeous restaurant, and we 're amazed to have never seen/visited before. It won 't be long before we put this right..."

"This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Stamford, up until I ordered a takeaway last Friday. I am vegetarian and have been for many years, so I order on the phone and not via just eat to reiterate my dish is to be...just sauce with no meat. I ordered a tikka masala sauce and ate about 1/4 of it. The next day I went to have my leftovers and noticed pieces of chicken in the dish!! I felt sick and then realised had probably eaten small bits of chicken the night before. Ew. I threw away the dish and the accompanying dishes because who would eat dry naan and rice? I called them about this disgusting issue and they proceeded to imply I was lying, as they do not prepare the meat with the sauces. When I responded with the fact I have photos of it, they changed their tone and offered me £10 off my next meal there, I said this wasn't acceptable as I cant trust their food preparation practices anymore and I said I wanted a refund instead. They accepted and I was told I had to come into the restaurant to get this refund, despite the fact I originally paid over the phone but when I got to the restaurant they tried to refund me only for the sauce, which does not cost must but I explained that I couldn't eat any of the meal and I was out of pocket much more than just the sauce. They finally offered a refund of no more than £10 and tried to give cash until I refused and then eventually I was given the refund on my card. The man was quite rude the whole time I was there. Their excuse was the chef had got the order mixed up and this was the reason for the chicken pieces, its very obvious the dish was made with chicken and just plucked out before sending it to me. I am highly allergic to prawns and this would be a different story if it was not chicken being lazily served!!! If it was a “kitchen mix up” then I would have had whole bits of chicken in the dish and this would have been a genuine mistake and could have been rectified. Watch out, bad food preparation and lazy approach to dietary requirements and allergies."
