The Cellar - Carta

We were struggling a bit to find some nice vegetarian options on this street untill we kind of accidentally stumbled into The Cellar Door.

What a lovely surprise this place was. Cozy atmosphere, & great service. The food was outstanding, creative presentation and wonderful flavor combinations. A+

The food was delicious. Very big portions for the price. The location is very nice, you can see Edinburgh Castle from the restaurant window. The staff was friendly and respectful.

Lovely day in Edinburgh. Too tired and too hungry, I and my friend found this little gem not very far from Market Street. Very cosy, nice music, very polite personnel, absolutely delicious food!

With a booking we were given a nice table and had a delicious lunch. The service was excellent. The soup was very tasty as was the rest of the meal. One person had the burger which looked great. Ver carta

Nothing about this place disappoints. The food was outstanding (we had the duck and flat iron steak), the service was friendly and attentive, the decor is inviting and the location is perfect (just a short walk from the Royal Mile).

Perfect service, the best I encountered in Edinburgh so far; the food was so yummy and cooked to perfection; we had the steak and the Haddock fish, both were nicely seasoned! Enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend if you are in the area Thank you Ed, Buddy and the young lady with the dark hair!

Great vibe. Very attentive wait staff. Fantastic view looking back towards castle. Diverse drink menu and better food menu! My wife had a risotto and I had an unbelievable sea trout. Make sure to make reservations for dinner! Although we were lucky to be squeezed in as a party of two. High energy atmosphere. Ver carta
