"The spring rolls and Camembert starters were delicious. Both the lamb hotpot and fish cake mains were tasty, although the fish cake didn't need accompanying chips. The steaks were disappointing – they were thin and uncertain if they were rib eye, making cooking to medium rare inaccurate. The potato wedges were overcooked in this pricy main dish. The Sticky Toffee Pudding and Brownie desserts were enjoyable. The waitstaff were attentive."

Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere in the garden but food came swimming in oil or butter which was a shame. Possibly new chef as food had previously been excellent.

Having read good reviews of the Green Man we were happy to find it lived up to expectations. It was informal and friendly but not intrusively so. The staff were busy but we didn't feel rushed. The food was delicious and we would definitely eat here again.

Had four meals on a quiet Tuesday night. The food was excellent and the service was right. The vegetarian option for one of our parties was a revelation that was unique and freshly prepared and cooked. All meals were excellent. We're definitely going to dine here again.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the nice menu and food selection. The atmosphere is friendly and the location is great. However, during my most recent visit, the service was surprisingly slow, even though the restaurant was not busy.

The sort of village pub you thought long gone. Separate dining area is also available. Good food, cooked well and well presented. Friendly service. Guest Beers when we went. Range of food to suit everyone.Classic to more modern . Can get deservedly busy, so book to be sure.

We made a reservation for Wednesday at noon in October, and it ended up being a quiet day at the restaurant. It was the perfect place to stop for lunch after a walk in Woburn Deer Park during rutting season. The two-course lunch menu was a great deal, and despite running out of some standard ingredients, the desserts were still delicious.

We had some friends visit and decided to go out for the evening. We made a reservation in the morning for that evening, for four people It was a nice relaxing atmosphere in the bar. We ordered our meals, the restaurant area was very quite. The food was excellent, as was the service. I cannot understand why the restaurant was so quite. We all had a lovely evening and look forward to returning.
