Had four meals on a quiet Tuesday night. The food was excellent and the service was right. The vegetarian option for one of our parties was a revelation that was unique and freshly prepared and cooked. All meals were excellent. We're definitely going to dine here again.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the nice menu and food selection. The atmosphere is friendly and the location is great. However, during my most recent visit, the service was surprisingly slow, even though the restaurant was not busy.

We booked ahead on a October Wednesday lunch time but it turned out to be a quiet day. An ideal lunch stop half way round a walk to see the Woburn Deer Park rutting. The two course lunch menu was good value and desserts were rustled up even though they had run out of the standard items.

We had some friends visit and decided to go out for the evening. We made a reservation in the morning for that evening, for four people It was a nice relaxing atmosphere in the bar. We ordered our meals, the restaurant area was very quite. The food was excellent, as was the service. I cannot understand why the restaurant was so quite. We all had a lovely evening and look forward to returning.

Spring rolls and Camembert starters were good. Lamb hotpot and fish cake mains were good although the fish cake didn't need chips however the steaks were disappaoaianting, we were unsure that they were rib eye and they were thin so cooking medium rare was not accurate and the potato wedges were extremely over cook and this was an expensive main dish. Sticky toffee pudding and brownie were good. The waiters were attentive

The steaks were disappointing – they were thin and uncertain if they were rib eye, making cooking to medium rare inaccurate. The potato wedges were overcooked in this pricy main dish.
