We cycled to Chiddingstone for breakfast on Sunday morning. Great set up as always. Very good breakfast, lovely coffee and the COVID precautions are spot on Ver carta

dipped for a Sunday roast – nut roast, sweet, potatoes and gravy. was delicious, but would have loved some sausages or a yorkshire pudding, and there were only three brat potatoes! also apple crumbs for the desert was delicious.

many vegan starters and two vegan main options. both net parts were super tasty and portion sizes were very generous! had to ask which options were vegan, since only vegetarians were marked with “V”, but the staff was incredibly helpful and cheesy that were suitable. beautiful pub and would visit again.

I have tried the vegan fish and chips and the deluxe vegan burger. both meals were delicious! the Jackfruit spring rolls were also very delicious. I want to see some vegan dessert options on the regular menu. there are vegan desserts on the Christmas menu, so they might just have to ask. My partner and I decided to take a trip from London through Kent on our motorbike today and after checking out Happy Cow we decided to venture here. We weren’t disappointed! Vegan fish and chips was the best one either of us have tried and the nut roast was delicious. Service was very friendly and we weren’t made to feel any different for ordering vegan. The price was approximately £12 a meal and the portion was very good. We left feeling full. I fell in love with the decor and the garden. We will absolutely return when next in the area

We were up Kent way and wanted somewhere nearby for a nice meal and happened across the Little Brown Jug, drawn in by the Vegan fish and chips option. It is really nice to be in a foodie pub environment and feel included. We heard people on the tables around commenting on the vegan fish and chips so it is an attention grabber for sure. It was indeed tasty (a banana blossom version) but don't discount the other options available either. We both had a starter of Jackfruit spring rolls with satay sauce and Japanese salad. Really tasty and we appreciate the efforts they are making with their vegan options. As they have won awards for their standard fish and chips, it is a great advert for vegani...

this was the first restaurant that I found when using happy cow to eat, so it should be my first to also be checked! I was drawn to come here through their fascinating vegan options, especially the banana-blood “fish” and chips. it also had a very large selection of beautiful looking eating for my omni woman to choose. the pub itself, when large, but secretly with beautiful decor. we had arrived to arrive immediately and our food did not take too long to arrive once ordered.
