Very, very good! What a find! Turned up without a booking but was seated immediately. Friendly staff and the best burger I 've ever eaten according to another member of our party. Going to an independent restaurant can sometimes be a gamble but this one absolutely paid off. Clean bathrooms, friendly and attentive service and great food. An absolute winner. travelling from Plymouth with the Mrs,did some googling for a steakhouse in the area, so glad we came across this place oh my god, what an absolute delightful experience, the guy that served us was very funny,helpful and kind and made the experience that little bit better, it would of been a misteak if we went somewhere else for moo years day, we had the shed load platter and it was a beautiful, the quality of meat on the plate was phenomenal, we left here very happy fat and full, i hope to be back and sample the menu even further. thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good and staff were excellent, I would ignore the below review as I’m sure this was the couple sat on the table next to us, if so they complained after they’d eaten pretty much all of their food and declined a replacement meal and a free drink, complained that an espresso martini didn’t come within 30 seconds of ordering it, they then proceeded to be rude to the staff members and the young manager there, who dealt with them very well, I got the impression this definitely wasn’t their first time complaining to try get a free meal, seems like others had the same impression from their trip advisor reviews Ver carta
