Best lunch we've had in a while. Great service, very kind people. I can definitely recommend the bacon sandwich or the burger!!

Visited with friends for a Sunday Roast. The food was amazing and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend a visit.

Friendly staff, contemporary decor, clean/modern, dog friendly (with treats on offer), polite welcome, prompt service (for drinks, order food delivery).

4 of us each had different meals and they were all delicious , served on hot plates too !The gammon steak was particularly good , best ever and all in a lovely comfortable restauarent

Excellent place for food and drinks. Very friendly. The owner and bar manager went above and beyond for us which was really appreciated. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

The food was exceptionally good belly pork amazing (tender, tasty with crunchy crackling) and the chicken pie was homemade. Fabulous sticky toffee pudding. Really welcoming and friendly service. Shall definitely go again.

Yesterday Julian and his staff delivered a fantastic Sunday Lunch to our family of 28 people . The food was beautifully cooked and all the veg was freshly prepared and cooked. The meals was priced well and delivered by a wonderful team . Julian even got a round of applause for his excellence. Thank you from our English and Scottish family . Anne Rob

My daughter recently held her wedding reception here. Has a large private room with tables and chairs along with a bar. There were about 60 guests, and room was large enough. We also used the adjoining grass area that also had seating plus a bouncy castle for children, Food was great. Parking is a bit hit and miss as only room for a handful of cars in the car park.Highly recommended

Popped in for a lunch rather late in the day to find 'sold out '. About to leave but the bar staff ran to the kitchen to check and was delighted to be told they could squeeze us in. There was certainly no small prtions they weren 't scraping the pot out to feed us, the veg was spot on, meat tender and juicy. All served on hot plates with plenty of gravy and condiments offered. Really good wine list and the beer was quite delicious too. Will be back, highly recommend to anyone wanting a decent Sunday roast. Could spend the whole afternoon there, may well next time.
