I visited this restaurant on a busy Friday night and was greeted with exceptional Yorkshire hospitality. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Stayed in the village of Burniston for a week and visited the Three Jolly Sailors five times. Ate there on three occasions excellent food (try the steak pie and roast dinners) lovely staff and very good prices. What’s not to love? Ver carta

We have visited here a few times now, we are local and its great to go somewhere nice to eat.Never had a bad meal here and food is always tasty and yummy even better when they have the Apple crumble for a dessert.Staff are also friendly and welcoming.

We we’re staying in the area and popped in for a few drinks and something to eat. The ribeye steak was lovely, and the chips were amazing. Everything cooked to perfection. Very busy but didn’t have long to wait at all. Took a chocolate and orange gateau away. That wasn’t a gateau, it was like orange sponge but it was really nice.

We booked in last minute and so glad we chose here. Lovely atmosphere, family friendly but also plenty of couples, groups etc. The food was great. Me and the wife both went for the pie. Kids meals were great, they enjoyed it and great portion sizes. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and we hope we will be back. Thanks. Ver carta

Had a long walk on the coast and stumbled across this pub! Nipped in and it was very busy, but they fit us and out dog in ! We ordered Tuna sandwiches and Prawn sandwiches with chips, just a quick snack but it was served with a beautiful salad and arrived in about 5 mins! Staff were great, service was great …. Well Done …. No wonder Your busy !!!

We always visit here when we are down from Scotland. The food is consistently good this time we had steak pie, roast dinner and lasagne. Big portions and so delicious. I feel lasagne can be overrated in a lot of places but not here it was a generous serving and not dry or overcooked which can sometimes happen. Also good to have both chips and garlic bread. We had one sticky toffee pudding between us and that was also delicious. can't wait to come back soon!

The customer service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, the meal was even worse. After being seated, we waited for service that never arrived. After ten minutes, we had to flag down a staff member to ask for a menu, only to find out we were supposed to retrieve it ourselves from the bar. The food came out quickly, but it was not tasty. My lasagne was dry and bland, lacking any Béchamel sauce. Even the side salad was starting to wilt. When we paid, the owner didn't bother to ask about our experience, indicating they were aware of the subpar meal and service.
