Went for my 8yr old granddaughters 8th birthday treat. Lovely service, and the risotto was the best I've had in a long time. The kids loved their pizzas too. Will definitely be back

Another fantastic evening in this under rated Italian in the centre of Filey . Great atmosphere the food and service top class nothing is too much trouble , loved it , we will be back

The food wasn’t good, masquerading as Italian but tasting like below average English cafe food. The Rissoto reminded me of Ambrosia creamed rice for example. On entering the staff were not friendly, benito! and didn’t seem to care whether we enjoyed the food or not. Ver carta

Disappointed that, once again, it was a disappointing experience. No real warmth when arrived (table was reserved), food was ok, but nothing to stimulate the palate. Music was intrusive making conversation difficult. 1st visit was OK, 2nd was a shocker because of the very high volume of the music, tried a 3rd time, but never again.

I felt warmly welcomed as the I told the waitress table for one please . She sat me at a nice quiet table and brought me menus . The happy hour was on so I was able to get a marinara pizza for £9.50 inc £1 extra) seafood the choices of pasta pizzas was lovely . A pint of moretti and my pizza came out which was large ! Divine thin crisp Italian base and loaded with seafood , asked would I like Parmesan black pepper etc ..I asked for Parmesan and was brought out the fridge my own flip lid pot of it which thrilled me ! Best pizza I’ve ever had and excellent service and ambiance . Highly recommend

Booked the restaurant due to the limited eateries that Filey boasts. My partner discussed the vegan options available for her and was reassured that options would be available. On arrival we were greeted by some very nice staff. I had the special garlic bread and the carbonara. I am sorry to say the garlic bread was greasey beyond belief and the carbonara was bland and tasteless, I have had far better from the microwave. My wifes vegan option pizza was topped with uncooked onions, mushrooms and sweetcorn, no sign of herbs, spinach, olives etc. She couldn't have fries due to them being cooked in the same oil as the fish, beware veggies. In summary I am sure no Italian's would put their names... Ver carta

Don’t bother , service was pathetic , 60 mins to get a drink and so on. We were told to preorder which we did as we were a party of 11. Food was okay , I wouldn’t say anything special but okay , when it came !! Over 30 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink and then at least 30 more before everyone had a drink , trying to order a second drink was impossible One of the team asked for some English mustard , they brought it in the jar which had obviously been used by someone else as there were remnants of food in it ! ! Food got served , no one asked if okay or if we wanted Parmesan, pepper etc , it’s was a total joke and totally spoilt our night , as my friend said on leaving ,” the flies in...

Took my family for an evening meal, shown to a table ,positioned very squashed next to kitchen and looking onto stacked chairs and cleaning equipment. Friendly enough staff . Requested table change and they obliged very quickly. Food ordered, came extremely quickly food for four people in less than ten minutes !! Calazone was adequate as was the baked bolegnese, the two chicken,mushroom pasta dishes were awful !! Very very bland ,frozen chicken strips used. Clearly bought in frozen desserts ,nothing genuinely Italian about the cuisine . Never offered breads ,oils,olives...felt extremely rushed getting us in and out. Not a good dining experience. We went for my birthday and wedding anniversary, which are the same day and on the night we went. At the time of booking I mentioned we were celebrating these.The lady on the phone told me she would set the table nice for us. The table was not set. We had starters which were just warm and then the main meal. Well what can I say about the lasagna. This was a bowl of mince meat with a quarter of a sheet of lasagna that look liked it been dropped and scraped back in. Again hardly warm. At no point did any one pop back to see if the meals were going well or if we wanted another drink. We had to keep getting their attention. We had to ask for clean cutlery after our starters.
