Very pleasant lunch with excellent service. Wide choice of dishes on the menu to suit everyone.

Had lunch with my parents, party of 4, service was excellent as was the food, will definitely return soon.

Wonderful Christmas meal. Very tasty and plenty on the plate. Surprisingly lacking in atmosphere but maybe due to us having an early evening booking.

My wife and I both had the steak and ale pie with mash, all really tasty, extra gravy nice touch, the bar was very busy due to Sea shanty singalong but barman coped pretty well, nice to see the place buzzing, will return soon.

Had a really tasty Sunday roast in a lovely quaint pub. Staff were v friendly and attentive. Great value for money. Service was quick. I'd definitely recommend to others and come back. I'd also recommend the desserts especially the biscoff sundae and crumble of the day. Yum..

Not as good as other review have said . Service was very slow. Two of our meals arrived both Christmas dinner without any sprouts which were brought later and No stuffing at all. The Christmas pudding was nice but sadly the custard was cold. This was a special treat for my daughter and son-in-law and left me feel let down. So sorry but I must be honest.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Moorend Spout. The festive menu had plenty of choices, including traditional turkey dinner and vegan options. I particularly liked the dessert option of fruitcake with stilton as a good Yorkshirewoman I know fruitcake should be served with cheese! Being Sunday lunchtime, it was quite noisy with small children and lots of people, but the music level was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The waitress was very kind polite but often slow at taking our orders. We waited 15 minutes after being seated just to order drinks. When the food came out one of us ordered fish and chips and was given scampi, which he was quite disappointed about but didn’t want to cause a fuss and send back to the kitchen. Charging £17.50 for a mixed grill I would expect a large portion for being one of the most expensive things on the menu but unfortunately it wasn’t all that! After being almost forgotten about after our desserts came out we had to hunt down a waitress to ask for the bill. Which she very reluctantly got for us, it almost seemed a chore for her by the look on her face! Reluctantly we paid...
