Always receive a warm welcome from Franco, very lovely host. Food is delicious and you are not rushed out either. Love the amaretto coffees. Always look forward to our meals here.

Five of us visited Francos on Monday evening. Although the service was a bit slower than usual due to how busy they were, the food was delicious. We all rated both the starters and mains as a perfect 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon.

Our favourite place to visit for a meal out in Bishop Auckland. Always welcomed with open arms by Franco and his staff, cannot fault the service. The food is delicious and very reasonable, the specials vary so there is always something new to try. Wouldn’t hesitate the recommend Franco’s to anyone. Give it a try!

If you ever attempt to book a reservation for this franchise I’d recommend not doing so as the owner is very aggressive, avoid this establishment like a plague, he was very argumentative and argued over me numerous times! I was just trying to book my sons birthday and was treated like rubbish, absolutely disgusting. Ver carta

5 of us dined here and I have to say it was faultless,The 3 chicken dishes were all really good and 2 had fish .Sea Bream and sea Bass both perfectly cooked and accompanied with a generous portion of veg and potatoes.Prices are very reasonably most dishes between £8 and £15. The staff were extremely friendly and most helpful.

This is my favourite Italian in the area! The owner is extremely welcoming, friendly and makes you feel as if you are actually in Italy. There is a reason this place has been open for so long. The food is really good and the interior design makes it feel authentic. Not to mention everything is very reasonably priced. Cannot wait until it opens up again after lockdown!

I am at a loss for words. The Italian food we had at this restaurant was hands down the best I have ever tasted. It was clear that the dishes were homemade and they were absolutely exquisite. My partner and I cannot stop talking about this place, and I highly recommend that everyone give it a try. Do not judge a book by its cover, as I cannot emphasize enough how delicious the food was. It was not your typical bolognese and carbonara; there was something uniquely special about them. Both the chef and waitress we interacted with were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our evening memorable.
